University Judo Boom
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, November 18. Judo is having a boom at London University, particularly after one of its students, Tony Sweeney, competed at the Olympic Games. This term more than 100 students have joined the university’s club, of which Sweeney is president, and it has been granted £270 by university authorities to help it along. The inter-university judo championship will be staged at London University on February 20.
