Four Houses Sold
A brick bungalow, about four years old, at 94 Joy street, Shirley, was sold for £3350 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr Ray Simes. The opening bid was £2950. There was one bid of £lOO, and six of £5O. The house, on a section of 27 perches, has three bedrooms, living-room, and kitchen.
A weatherboard bungalow at 45 Lionel street, Dallington, was sold for £2850. The auctioneer was Mr N. H. McCrostie. The house has two bedrooms, lounge, sunroom, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. There are also a garage, workshop, and toolshed on the section of 25.1 perches. A house at 69 Coleridge street, Sydenham, has been sold for £1275 by George Anderson and Son. The property was passed in when offered at auction on Monday. A bungalow at 157 Memorial avenue has been withdrawn from auction, having been sold on account of the estate of Violet Niklaus by N. H. McCrostie and Company.
