22 Battalion Association
The South Island branch of the 22 Battalion Association held a social evening in conjunction with its annual meeting at the week-end to bid farewell to Mr B. Cox and his wife. Mr Cox, who is secretary of the Dominion Yeast Company, Ltd., is an original member of the committee and is being transferred to Auckland.
The president (Mr C. F. Whitty) made a presentation to Mr Cox. Officers elected were:— President, Mr Whitty; secretary, Mr J. C. Smith; treasurer, Mr K. Meredith-Kay; committee, Brigadier T. C. Campbell, Major R. West, Messrs S. R. Southall, J. Russell, T. M. Moore, H. L. Taylor, H. R. Brady, and C. K. Ferguson.
