Late Shopping Nights
The question of two late shopping nights before Christmas would be discussed again at a meeting of the Combined District General Retail Shop Assistants Conciliation Council in Wellington on November 27, said the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr S. W. Armstrong) yesterday. The council adjourned on October 15 when it appeared a stalemate had been reached on various issues including. the unqualified preference' clause and late shopping j nights.
