MR C. L. SHIELDS
The death occurred recently of Mr Colin Laurie (Tex) Shields, a Canadian well known in Christchurch business and sporting circles. He was aged 56. Mr Shields, who had a dental mechanics business, was a foundation member of the North American Club in Christchurch. He was a .member of the management I committee of the Canterbury Boxing Association for a number of seasons and also the ring announcer at tournaments. He was also a keen bowler. Mr Shields is survived by his wife and two sons.
