Rooms For Hillmorton
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 18.
The Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) said today plans were being prepared for the addition of six rooms to Hillmorton High School which would be opened for use by 1966.
Mr M. A. Connelly (Opp., Riccarton) asked Mr Kinsella in a written Parliamentary question to ensure there would be no delay in calling tenders for the additions and to give favourable consideration to proposals by the school to meet its accommodation needs in the meantime.
Mr Kinsella replied that no such proposals had been received from the school but the Education Department would ensure all needs would be met.
