(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. Nov. 8. Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Richardson, the G.O.C. British Northern Command, arrived in Australia today for a nine days’ liaison visit before travelling on to New Zealand. Sir Charles Richardson will join up with a British battalion in New Zealand which is exercising with the New Zealand Army.
Sugar Ray Wins.— Sugar Ray Robinson, the former world middle-weight boxing champion, won a 10-round points decision over Jean Rolland (France) on Saturday.—Cannes, Nov. 8.
