Methodists Meet

(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Nov. 6. The Rev. A. R. Witheford, of Ashburton, was elected president-elect of the New Zealand Methodist Conference for 1965 at the annual conference being held in Hamilton. The vice-president for 1965 is Mr R. Garlick, an Auckland solicitor. Eighteen ordinands were received by the president of the conference, the Rev. G. H. Goodman, of Palmerston North. This is probably the largest number of ordinands before a conference in this century, said Mr Goodman.
