Function For Secretary
Members of the board and committee of the Christchurch Young Women’s Christian Association gave a morning coffee party recently to bid farewell to Miss Lilias Scott, who is leaving the position of general secretary to the association, to become a vocational guidance officer.
The president (Miss A. I. Webb) and the former president (Mrs A. N. McLeod), thanked Miss Scott for her services over the years, and wished her well in her new work among young people. A spray of flowers and a gift were presented to her.
