Senior Citizens Outing
Four bus-loads of senior citizens will spend tomorrow in Ashburton. The annual trip will be an outing for 144 members of the Christchurch Senior Citizens’ Association. The party will leave Christchurch at 9.30 a.m. Members will provide their own lunch at the Jaycees Hall before spending an hour in the Domain. They will then return to the Hall .where the Mayor of Ashburton, Mr J. Davidson, will preside at an afternoon tea. The outing has been organised by the Association’s Saturday Social Committee.
