THE ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY, at its Devonport Dockyard, has the biggest fully-enclosed boat shop in the country. TOP: A 32ft cutter nearing completion. In addition to boat-building, the shop services the many small craft used by the Fleet. BOTTOM: A tradesman working on a fibre-glass dinghy. Old wooden dinghies are now replaced by fibre-glass ones for use by the Fishery Protection Squadron, the Hydrographic Branch, and the four Volunteer Reserve Divisions.
