INDUSTRIAL POWER
Rate Lower In Riccarton A reduction in the electric power industrial rate recommended by the electricity committee of the Riccarton Borough Cquncll was adopted by the council last evening. The rate, which is at present £4 14s a kilowatt of maximum demand is to be reduced to £4 7s 6d where the industry is supplied at 11,000 volts and has a maximum demand of more than 1000 kilowatts. There was no discussion on the report.
