Methven Trials Cancelled
The trials which were to have been held at Methven on Tuesday, November 17, have been cancelled by the MidCanterbury Trotting Owners’ and Breeders’ Association. The Methven course has been heavily top-dressed and re-sown, but because of the unusually dry season the seed has not struck. It was felt that had the trials been held it would have damaged the course and jeopardised the track for other meetings.
