Jubilee In Form For Hutt Park

Jubilee, a brother to a former champion trotter in Moon Boy, gained a deserved win at the Otaki meeting on Wednesday. He will have bright prospects of extending his record in the Spring Handicap and the McKenzie Memorial Handicap, the races for trotters at the Masterton Trotting Club’s annual meeting at Hutt Park Raceway today.

Jubilee will be bracketed with Captain Worth in both races. Most opposition to him in the Spring Handicap may come from Chief Assault and Frisky, which raced fairly well at the Otaki meeting. A stronger field will compete in the McKenzie Memorial Handicap in which the

chances of Self Contained and Anne Bingen are highly rated. The T.A.B. double will be run on the Masterton Cup and the Stewards’ Handicap, Scottish Flight and Evening Twilight, winners on the course on Wednesday, forming a likely combination.
