HYDATIDS COUNCIL

Canterbury Visit The National Hydatids Council has changed its plans to visit the West Coast this month because the annual conference of the New Zealand Grassland Associaton will be held there. The council will now visit South and North Canterbury. Its policy is to meet periodically outside Wellington to give it an opportunity to visit control authorities and become familiar with their problems. The council will meet Incal control authorities and representatives of other interested bodies at Timaru on the afternoon of October 13. Representatives of the Levels County Council, Timaru City Council, Ashburton County and Borough Councils, and Waimate, Waitaki, Mackenzie, Ellesmere and Geraldine county councils have been invited to attend this meeting. The council will itself meet in Timaru that evening and again on the following morning and afternoon before travelling to Christchurch. On the afternoon of October 15 the council win attend another combined meeting at, Culverden with the Amuri, Kaikoura, Waipara, AshleyKowai, Cheviot, WaimakaririAshley, Malvern, Paparua, 1 Waimairi, Christchurch, Riccarton and Banks Peninsula hydatid committees.
