Compensation Claim
Judge Dalglish in the Compensation Court yesterday awarded Faithful Charles Meikle compensation and dependants’ allowances from September 23, 1963, till November 9,1963, and from May 7, 1964, till June 21, 1964, £76 13s medical expenses, costs, and penal compensation of £5O.
On May 27, 1963, Meikle, when employed by Transport and Storage, Christchurch, Ltd., had suffered an accident which resulted in a hernia.
Mr R. G. Blunt appeared for Meikle and Mr J. G. Leggat for Transport and Storage Christchurch, Ltd.
