Driver Of The Year
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright? LONDON, Oct. 2. John Surtees has been voted “Driver of the Year” by the Guild of Motoring Writers. The award is made to the driver of any nationality, in any make of car and in any event who “shows such skill, courage, initiative or endurance or a combination of any of these qualities as to single him out as driver of the year.”
