RURAL VALUER RETIRES
Mr C. A. Fairweather, district valuer in the North Canterbury rural area, has retired after 18 years’ service in the Canterbury office of the Valuation Department. The Valuer-General (Mr J. Bruce Brown) presented him with a nest of mahogany tables, on behalf of the department’s staff, at a function yesterday.
