FARMERS 5 CO-OPS
Turn-over Of £7om (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Oct. 1. The turnover of the 10 New Zealand owned and operated companies which comprise the Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Wholesale Federation of N.Z., Ltd., during the last year was £7om, said Mr S. A. Rhodes yesterday. As chairman of directors of the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Mr Rhodes is host to delegates attending the forty-seventh annual meeting of the federation which began in Hamilton yesterday. The 10 organisations, all in the stock, station and merchandise trade, have their individual headquarters in five North Island and .five South Island centres. They are meeting to co-ordinate their policy on a national basis.
