NEW LETTER-SORTING MACHINE.—This production prototype of a new sorting machine, manufactured for the Post Office in London, is capable of sorting 20,000 letters an hour. The sorter marks each letter with a G.P.O. code, using phosphorescent dots. It is fed into the machine which does the rest of the sorting.
