A Dangerous Corner
Sir, —Since the corner of Rossall street and Leinster road has been widened, motorists appear to have lost the caution they previously had. Now it has become a cyclists’ nightmare to turn right from Rossall street into Leinster road, especially in the early-morning rush hour. Many motorists drastically cut the corner, travelling at more than a prudent speed. Motorists who frequent this route should consider the unprotected cyclist and obey the rules of the road.—Yours etc. NIGHT NURSE. September 30, 1964.
