Bankruptcies Increase
There have been 46 bankruptcies in the Christchurch district in the first nine months of this year. One incorporated society and one company were ordered by the Supreme Court to be wound up. In the first nine months of 1963 there were 44 bankruptcies and one' company liquidation. In the quarter ended yesterday there were 18 bankruptcies. There were 16 in the same period last year; Last month there were 12 bankruptcies. In September, 1963, there were six.
House Burgled.—A movie camera worth £69 was stolen from a house in Kilmore street bn Tuesday night. Clothing worth JEU was also stolen.
