First Step With Prize
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 28. Dr. Bill Thurlow, husband of the former Olympic swimmer, Lorraine Crapp, won first prize of £AIOO,OOO in a lottery drawn today. Dr. Thurlow, who is 43, said when told the news: “My first step will be to build a health centre. It will have a 25-metre heater pool, sauna bath and specialised physiotherapy facilities. “It will be devoted mainly to the rehabilitation of spastics and paraplegics.”
