CONTINUING CLUB HISTORY
The Unton Rowing Club ha« had one of the best seasons in its history. said the one hundred and first annual report. As welt as celebrating its centennial, the club has had sketch plans drawn up for a new boat-house at Kerr s Reach. Mr N. M. West has agreed to take over where Mr W. G. Alack left off to bring the written history of the club up to date Only the first 75 years arc on record. Club crews had several successes at local and provincial regattas and the club ended the season with the Head of the River flag, the Kerr's Reach Pennant, and the D.C.L. Cup. A young club member, P. Sullivan. won the Haverfield single scull trophy against senior scullers. A concentrated training and build-up programme has been maintained . over the winter months. Active members totalled 52 last season, a decrease of seven, said the report.
