SUGGESTION BOX

(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. Speaking during discussion of the Valuation Department Estimates, he said: “We’ve got to do something about this question of unimproved value. “I may be exceeding my authority as Minister—but it is the way I feel.” Changes in the act were necessary, and he was not happy with the recommendations from the Agricultural Development Conference in this regard. “We’ve got to do better than the conference,” he said.
