Basketball Team Loses
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LITHGOW (New South Wales), Sept. 30. The New Zealand women’s indoor basketball team was again outplayed by New South Wales yesterday at Lithgow. New South Wales won, 4441, and at half-time led 24-20. Poor shooting was the downfall of the New Zealand team. Its top scorers were J. Taylor (14) and S. McPhee (9). Other scorers were: G. Clements, P. Harford, S. Morris, P. Howard, W. Hall and M. Ard.
