House Sold For £l050
A brick house, about 45 years old, at 28 Longfellow street, Beckenham, was sold for £lO5O at public auction yesterday. The. auctioneer was Mr G. H. Kissell. The Government valuation is £2OBO. The house has a lounge, dining-room, three bedrooms, sunporch, bathroom, and laundry. There is also a garage on the section of 30.6 perches. It was a mortgagee’s sale. Passed In At £BlOO Three city properties, known as the Worcester Apartments, at the corner of Barbadoes street and Worcester street were passed in at £BlOO. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan. The houses comprise 20 rooms and offices on a section of 27.9 perches, zoned residential B. The apartments were advertised as returning £1222 a year. The Government valuation is £7OOO, and the rates £ll3 5s lOd.
