BULK TONNAGE OPERATORS CHANGE NAME
Overnight Freighters (Christchurch), have changed their name to “New Zealand Freighters ( Christchurch), Ltd.” This group of bulk tonnage operators consisting of seven New Zealand-owned and Christchurch-operated cartage contractors offer a Freight Service to Dunedin, Invercargill and all North Island destinations at rates more than competitive with New Zealand Railways charges. These firms are: John Brightling, Ltd.; J. Deyell and Company, Ltd.; C. E. Gwatkin and Company, Ltd.; Central Carrying Company, Ltd.; Empire Express Company, Ltd.; Horton Bidwell and Company, Ltd.; C. Williams and Sons, Ltd. They provide a pick-up service at your door and a delivery service to your customer. Their North Island service is per Aramoana. Ring 43-276 for this service and cut your distribution costs. —Advt.
