ONE WEEKS’ SUSPENSION
Senior Player Ordered Off The Western senior reserve soccer player, R. Brown, who was ordered off in the match against Technical Old Boys at Burwood Park last Saturday, was last evening suspended for one week by the judicial committee of the Canterbury Football Association. The sentence will be carried out on the first Saturday of the 1965 season. The referee, Mr P. Donnelly, told the judicial committee that he ordered Brown from the field for deliberately kicking an opponent. Now Available Mr R. Storer, the manager of the under-18 team to travel to Australia, reported that F. Madrussen was now able to travel. He had earlier withdrawn because of the pressure of his school studies. The party will consist of 16 players and two officials. Forty-two applications have, been received for the classes for club coaches to be conducted by Mr R. Carter, beI ginning next month.
