! Fares on all bus services in the South Island operated by Newman Bros., Ltd., of ' Nelson, have been increased ; by the Commissioner of Transport to enable the company to recover additional costs arising from the recent 6 per I cent general wage order. ) The commissioner’s de[cision has immediate effect. Any appeal must be lodged with the Secretary, Transport Charges Appeal Authority. Transport Department, Wellington, on or before October 16.
