NATIONAL POST
One of Canterbury’s wellknown, men’s basketball administrators, Mr M. A. Henshall, has been appointed secretary-treasurer of the New Zealand Men’s Basketball Referees’ Association. Mr Henshall is a former treasurer of the Canterbury association and' has been a member of its management committee for many years. He is currently chairman of its works committee. His refereeing is held in high regard and he is expected to gain his New Zealand referees’ badge in the near future. This appointment may mean the end of his administrative links with Canterbury basketball. However, he has intimated that he will review the position before the annual meeting and decide whether he can continue in an active capacity. Mr Henshall is an accountant with a Christchurch firm.
