Basketball N.Z. Tourists Beaten
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Sept. 27. The New Zealand women’s Indoor basketball team lost to a New South Wales squad, 32-41, at Sydney on Saturday. The New South Wales team, showing aggressive team play coupled with superior ball handling and shooting, won the game from the penalty line Ten of its points came from penalty goals. At half-time. New South Wales led, 23-20. The New Zealand scorers were G. Clements, M. Watts. P Harford (6), J. Taylor W. Hall, S. McPhee (4), and S. Marris 12).
