Rolls-Royce For Parrot
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 28. Anyone who finds Charlie the parrot can have a RollsRoyce as a reward. The parrot, a red-tailed African grey, sex uncertain, belongs to Mrs Averil ScottMoncrieff, of Cheddleton, Staffordshire. Charlie vanished last week. Mrs Scott-Moncrieff’s husband, David, who has a collection of 50 old Rolls-Royce cars, said yesterday: “I’ll give one of the cars to whoever returns the parrot safely.” The Rolls-Royces in the collection are valued at £5O to £4500. Mr Scott-Moncrieff will not specify which one will go to the finder.
