No Shortage Of Jerseys
There will be no shortage of jerseys for the Newspapers Rugby team to play the Police in a charity match at the Show Grounds on Sunday. When a meeting of the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union last evening was advised that the Newspapers team might have some difficulty getting jerseys three clubs—Linwood, Suburbs and Merivale—offered the use of their senior team’s jerseys. Mr J. Storer (Linwood) made | the most telling point when he said that his club s jerseys were those worn by the team that | had won the Harewood Trophy.
