MAORIS WILL PLAY COLTS
Three Kiwis Included
A Canterbury Rugby League Colts team will play the Canterbury Maoris at Denton Park tomorrow in aid of the injured players fund. Eight current Canterbury representatives will take part, including three Kiwis—G. C. Blackler and J. H. Fisher (Colts) and P. M. White (Maoris). Another Colt is the Kiwi reserve, B. W. Langton. Although the Colts team has the more dangerous pack, the Maori backs, White, J. Martin, T. Tamihana and C. C. Preece, should even the game up. The Maoris are especially strong in the centres and on the wings. The return of M. Mohi following his injury should add interest to the match, especially when his performance is compared to that of Fisher.
