(N Z Press Association) MASTERTON, September 10. Wellington has a two-point lead in the A Grade section of the New Zealand women's Indoor basketball championships, being held at Masterton. In an upset match tonight, Canterbury beat Wairarapa, the defending champion, 43-36. Points are: A Grade.—Wellington 10. Wairarapa. Otago 8, Canterbury 6, Nelson, Auckland 4. Palmerston North. Wanganui 2. A Reserve. —Southland, Hutt Valley 8. Feilding 4, Tauranga. North Taranaki 2. Hawera 0. Today's results were: A Grade —Canterbury 43, Wairarapa 36: Otago 57, Palmerston North 35: Canterbury 34. Nelson 33: Auckland 29. Wanganui 20: Wellington 55. Palmerston North 37. A Reserve. —Southland 54, Feilding 32; North Taranaki 46. Hawera 29; Hutt Valley 43, Tauranga 26.
