Twelfth By Caesarean

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, Sept. 9. A mother has just had her twelfth baby—all of them born by major Caesarean operation, the “Daily Mirror” said today. The woman, Kathleen McGarry, aged 41, of East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, hugged her baby son last night and said: “I don’t know what the fuss is about —I’m just an ordinary mum.” Mrs McGarry, married 16 years, added: “My husband and I love children and we wanted as many as possible.” A doctor said of her record: “Very surprising. Three or perhaps four operations of this kind are usually the maximum.”
