Latest Profit £l.3m (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. Directors of Felt and Textiles of Australia, Ltd., announqed today that subject to final audit the consolidated profit for the year ended June 30 was £1,321,72J, according to the Stock Exchange Association of New Zealand. This result was after tax of £1,008,106 (last year £834,062), depreciation of £935,050 (£1,068,047) but before the deduction of minority interests. • After excluding the interests of minority shareholders in subsidiary companies the net consolidated profit was £1,003,255, compared with £1,079,815 last year. Recommended -final ordinary dividend of 5 per cent, payable December 4 makes steady 10 per cent for the year. However, the previous year’s figures included a contribution of £430,092 from Felt and Textiles of South Africa, Ltd., a former subsidiary disposed of during the year for £2,421,827 cash. This year includes a profit of £57,884 from Ark Rubber Industries, Ltd., acquired during the year.
