House Sold For £2500
A house at 13 Baretta street, Somerfield, was sold for £2500 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Mrs W. H. Hammett by Sherris and Wilson, Ltd., acting in conjunction with Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The house has two living rooms, two bedrooms, kitchen, pantry, and laundry. There are also a garage, glasshouse, and two storerooms oh the section of 32.7 perches. Offered on account of the estate of Margaret Jones, a bungalow at 55 Division street, Riccarton, was passed in at £2400. The auctioneer was Mr R. G. Bell. The house has two bedrooms, lounge, living room, kitchenette, and bathroom. Outbuildings on the section of ?6.5 perches include a two-roomed bach and sheds.
