Double Parked Too Long
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, Sept 7. Too many truck drivers, given a concession by law, double parked their vehicles inconsiderately, Mr F. McCarthy, S.M., said in the Otahuhu Court today. “This is a breed of Selfishness,” he said. He fined Warwick Webster Smith, aged 41, driver, £7 10s for incorrectly parking a truck in Otahuhu. Smith admitted the offence. Sergeant C. H. Shearwood said Smith had left his truck double parked for more than three-quarters of an hour. It blocked the exit of a parked car.
