Thieves Took TV Set
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 7. Smash - and - grab thieves threw a newspaper street sales box through the plateglass window of Avondale Furnishing, Ltd., at 3.30 a.m. today and stole a 19-inch television set valued at £ll4. The smash was similar to one in Dominion road last Monday in which two portable sets worth about £2OO were stolen.
