Table Tennis Seeds Survive 4 Rounds

All seeded players were still unbeaten after four rounds in the men’s singles event at the New Zealand table tennis championships being held in Cowles Stadium.

R. J. Scott (Canterbury) scored a good win over R. Taylor (Auckland) in the third round, the score being 15-21, 19-21, 21-16, 21-19, 22-20. In the following round a Wellington junior, B. Gregory, made light work of Scott and beat him, 21-19, 21-18, 21-11. D. J. Kalin also scored a good victory over B. T. Cross, 20- 23-21, 21-16, 21-17. B. A.
