Silver medals: Firemen N. R. Clements (5 years), B. L. Clements (5 years). Certificate: Fireman N. A. Lovell (3 years). The Chief Fire Officer, Mr L. R. Osmond and Mrs Osmond, Fourth Officer J. S. Thompson, of Headquarters Fine Station, Mr T. Boyle, of the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board and Mrs Boyle, and the member of Parliament for Lyttelton (Mr N. E. Kirk) were among those specialty invited.
