Seotar4»attoa Officer I. F. Osram was presented with a V>H bar for 31 years of service to the peat. The Carson famtiy has been in the Lyttelton Voiunteer Fire Service for more than a century. He was also presented with a framed photograph with details of nis service, given by members of the Lyttelton Volunteer Fige Brigade. Other presentalioos were as follows:Silver bans: Station Officer J. Fogerty (15 years), Fire-man-secretary W. I. Bradley (23 years), Firemen J. C. Ornsby (13 years), C. K. Collins (7 years). Silver medals: Firemen N. R. Clements (5 years), B. L. Clements (5 years). Certificate: Fireman N. A. Lovell (3 years). The Chief Fire Officer, Mr L. R. Osmond and Mrs Osmond, Fourth Officer J. S. Thompson, of Headquarters Fine Station, Mr T. Boyle, of the Christchurch Metropolitan Fire Board and Mrs Boyle, and the member of Parliament for Lyttelton (Mr N. E. Kirk) were among those specialty invited.
