The Traffic Plan
Sir, —Mr Skellerup returns to Christchurch, presumably with all the answers, to save fair Hagley. Park from its alleged enemies. His comparison of the park with Rolleston avenue shows that his powers of observation have noti been improved by his journey. Pressed about the trees in Rolleston avenue, he becomes the tactful politician and “hedges”, which cuts the ground from his comparson. It really reminds one of Don Quixote tilting at the windmill.—Yours, etc., OBSERVER. September 1, 1964.
