Boy Of 8 Run Over
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept 1. An eight-year-old boy was run over and killed by a log trailer on a bush log track on Ahuroa road, about 20 miles east of Te Kuiti, at 12.30 pan. today. He was Vaughan Leroy Ivan Paul, son of Mr and Mrs W. Paul, 2 Rhode street Frankton.
Mr Paul is employed by Mr A. Cawte, of Ahuroa road, owner of the logging vehicle. Vaughan was travelling in the towing truck with Mr Cawte before the accident He dismounted to open a gate for the truck, and was caught under the trailer as it passed.
