Milk, Clothes From N.Z.
(N.Z. Pr<>. Aliociation) WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. Contributions to C.0.R.5.0. enabled New Zealanders to send overseas this month more than 24 tons of New Zealand milk powder and 66,000 articles of clothing to help people in poorer countries. The cash value of the gifts exceeded £36,000, C.0.R.5.0. said today. The milk powder sent was the largest amount handled by C.OJLS.O. this year. It went to clinics and children’s hospitals in India, Indonesia, the Phillippines, Korea and Fiji.
