Prosecuting Employers “The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, August 31. The Inland Revenue Department in Dunedin has decided to prosecute’ more than 100 employers who have failed to send in tax reconciliation statements. The assistant commissioner of taxes in Dunedin, Mr V. G. Henderson, said the department had sworn the first information for prosecutions for failure to reconcile tax deducted from employees with that paid to the department for the last year. “In every case several requests have been made without result. “Unfortunately; delay in this work can cause. refunds for employees to be withheld,” he said.
