303 To Train At Burnham
The eighth intake of National Service trainees will enter Burnham Military Camp tomorrow. The initial period of training will be 14 weeks. The intake will consist of 303 men. 174 from the South Island. 57 from the central North Island district and 72 from the northern half of the North Island. Thev will be trained in the medical corps and infantry units.
Today 150 South Island servicemen will enter Waiouru Military Camp for training in the armoured corps and artillery units.
