TOWN HALL FUNDS
Lottery Tickets Given Tickets in three Australian lotteries have been sent to the Mayor (Mr G. Manning) by Mr C. S. Trillo, a Christchurch man on holiday in Australia, and any prizes will go to the Christchurch town hall funds. The New South Wales Opera House lottery has a first prize of £lOO,OOO and there are big prizes in the Mammoth Casket Art Union and a special Melbourne Cup sweep. Mr Trillo has bought the tickets in the name of “Christchurch Town Hall Funds.”
