STORAGE DOWN
Another Loss On Sunday South Island lakes were down another 2,800,000 kilowatt hours yesterday—leaving only 95.330,000 units in storage. Generation on Sunday was 6,879,400 units, quite light ’ because of the fine weather. Mr R. S. S. Meredith, the district electrical engineer, said there had been no rain at all, so the nosition was steadily worsening. The total loss last week was 17,390,000 units, compared with 20,150,000 the previous week, and 11,640,000 the week before that.
